Best of all though Dolman is done and ready to be blocked and seamed! Yippeee!!! I can’t wait to finish and start wearing it this fall.
And to celebrate this effort I’ve started my next lace project: Paisley Lace Shawl from Interweave Knits Spring 05. I’m using JaggerSpun Zephyr in Cinnabar aka dental floss according to Phyl-Phyl. This stuff is dreamy! Light and very soft.
Now for some color inspiration…my garden
Have a good weekend all!
PS - my sides still hurt from Late Night. Thank you gals!
p.s.s. - starting a shawl with 8 stiches and them moving them to 4 DPNs is just WRONG! thank you for the sanity.

Dental Floss. I’m merrily knitting my own piece of lace work. Size 8 needles, 4.5 stitches an inch. Much, much less painful.
Can’t wait to see Dolman completed!
Your garden is pretty!

Zephyr is just luscious, isn’t it? It feels so darned good on your hands. And I hate the picture of the paisley shawl from that issue of IK. I really wish they’d stop trying to belong on a coffee table and start showing us what things look like.
