Tad disappointment
I couldn’t help myself and cast on for “Ruffles” yesterday using Interlacements Montana. I knit about 5 inches worth and realized this yarn is not going to work! There’s too much drape in the mohair/wool/silk combo, I really need something more stiff like the cotton that was used. Damn! I could use a wool/cotton mix but nothing too fancy. Back to the drawing board.
This is how I’m feeling right now:
Happy and sad at once. Happy for new yarn to purchase and sad for my pocketbook.
And yes, this is a Margaret Keane print/painting. I love her stuff.

Silk works. Debbie Bliss Soho works, but ends up being a bit bulky. DB Cathay would work up beautifully. Karabella Aurora 8 works. Just not the Montana (so sorry).
