Last week I picked up the latest Rowan Vintage Style book. Flipping through the gorgeous patterns I've decided to make this:
Agnes

Isn't it beautiful? I think it will look smashing!
At the store, I also picked up the yarn for this lovely scarf:
Others on the list:
Salina

I'm also in search of interesting patterns for a silk/wool blend yarn. I want to make a scarf. Here's what I'm thinking:
Anyone have other ideas or resources?

Carolina,
I have been coveting that Rowan book for weeks, especially because of Chantel. Since I don't crochet, I'm trying to let it go. Do you find the Rowan patterns easy to work with? I am a year old knitter, and I love a challange, but I do not like frustration! I'm interested in Salina, and wondered if that was considered an easy or intermediate pattern. Have a good day!
Oh, and I do love the scarf options in pam allen's new book...you should check them out.
Hoo-boy, I keep seeing that book represented. I think it's dangerous to be a pusher like that, you know! I think I'm going to have to find it for myself. Where, oh, where am I going to find the time???
Those Rowan knits are so beautiful! I think I need to get a copy of this book... drool
