Sunday, April 25th, 2004

Actually, the Hellebore starting blooming in late February or so and still going strong. Once the heat kicks in it will drop its seeds. I’m still waiting for other plants to show up…

Next border

Monday, June 2nd, 2003

We’re finally starting to get some real sun. Today is day #2 but it looks like we’ll be getting even more rain this week. I guess that’s good considering I just planted some more purchases yesterday. I picked up 2 Gauras, Salvia, Echinacea paradoxa, Rudbeckia ‘Goldstrum’, and two beautiful Clematis vines.

All of these new purchases are for the other border by the house. I’m starting from scratch here too since I gave away some shrubs.

Peony bloomed, finally!

Monday, June 2nd, 2003

The Peony has finally begun to bloom This flower is absolutely beautiful. I feel so bad for this little fella, he’s currently planted in part shade and reaching for the sun. Come this Fall I’ll be relocating him to a sunnier border. I’m sure the transplant will cause for no blooming next year but at least he’ll get more sun.
